JOB DESCRIPTION

The candidate who joins our team must be professional, friendly, diplomatic and on-point at all times. Our Salon Coordinators are responsible for superior guest service, salon/store operating standards, and all field/corporate initiatives. They work as leaders within the salon and are responsible for motivating their team of stylists and front desk team members to achieve retail and service goals.

 

Salon Manager Is:

– Customer service experience. Salon environment experience preferred.
– A positive can do attitude!
– Self starter / takes initiative to keep productive and contribute to completing operational tasks
– Must have reliable transportation
– Efficient, accurate, and interested in working in a fast-paced upscale salon.
– Time management.
– Quick decision making.
– Organized and well spoken.
– Adaptable and flexible in changing work environments.
– Experienced with retail sales.
– Cool under pressure with a positive outlook.
– Financial management knowledge.
– Team player, supportive of Stylists’ and Owner’s needs.
– Excellent personal/social skills when dealing with vendors, customers, coworkers, and the management team. This includes not discussing any internal business or personal issues in front of customers.

 

Daily Responsibilities Include:

– Answering multiple phone lines
– Providing information regarding products and services.
– Effectively and efficiently scheduling appointments.
– Ensuring smooth delivery of guest serviceS throughout the salon.
– Listening to guest concerns and finding appropriate resolutions.
– Working as a liaison between guests and service providers to ensure top-notch services.
– Efficiently run a front desk area and never leaving the area unattended.
– Manage, balance cash & other tenders of payment.
– Assists in maintaining cleanliness of the salon
– Verify invoices against packing slips.
– Sell and up-sell products and services.
– Ensure daily appointment confirmation calls.
– Learn and effectively use the salon’s computer system, including updates.
– Become knowledgeable in the products and services the salon offers. We offer full training and education for this.
– Help with general inventory tracking, including retail products, back bar products, office supplies, and janitorial supplies.
– Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
– Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Owner from time to time.

 

Candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends
